Live from the Mountain: Race Day!
Race day on Pikes Peak always brings a sense of achievement. You have spent the last year preparing for this one day to come. The countless hours you have spent planning, organizing, finalizing sponsorship deals, and car building has come down to this day. You have spent the last week going non-stop with little sleep as you prepare for race day. Early practice days and late nights working on the racecar have me drained, but somehow I can always manage to get excited about getting one shot at racing up that mountain.

Chump Car World Series – 24 hours at PPIR
This past weekend I drove in my second race and my first full 24 hour endurance race. I won’t keep you in suspense, our team finished in 2nd place. 10 laps behind first and only 2 laps ahead of third. Over a total of 1030 laps. That’s a margin between 1st and 2nd of .1% and from 2nd to 3rd of .2% Over 24 hours. Yes, it was close.
